We hold that all individuals have the right to exercise sole dominion over their own lives, and have the right to live in whatever manner they choose, so long as they do not forcibly interfere with the equal right of others to live in whatever manner they choose.

LP at Freedom Fest Las Vegas
From the blog of Austin Peterson, National LP Director of Outreach & Affiliate Relations
Freedom Fest 2009 in Las Vegas was a great outreach event for the Libertarian National Committee. The local Libertarian Party affiliate of Nevada is owed a special debt of gratitude, specifically Nathan Santucci, Debra Dedmon, and Kris McKinster. We received dozens of inquiries and passed out tons of flyers, buttons, and LP bags to attendees who wore our logo proudly during the event.

Quarterly Meeting a Success
The LPCC held their quarterly meeting at Gordon Biersch Restaurant on May 7 with speeches from Wayne Allyn Root (Libertarian Party's 2008 Nominee for Vice President,) Joe Panico (Citizens Awareness Network Organizer,) and Radley Balko (theagitator.com and Reason Magazine Senior Editor,) each in their own way spreading the message of liberty.
At the meeting, all of the LPCC Executive Committee signed a Libertarian Party greeting card welcoming Marijuana Policy Project back to the neighborhood.
Thanks to all who attended and renewed their LPCC membership. Your contribution goes a long way to help maintain liberty in our community and everywhere. If you weren't able to make it, don't worry, we're working to make the next meeting even better.
Las Vegas Tea Party
The Libertarian Party of Clark County and 1776 Brigade member Wayne Allyn Root joined the thousands of tax-payers on tax day voicing against corporate bailouts, excessive government spending, tax increases, and mind-boggling public debt.

"The Libertarian Party of Clark County has rallied at the Sunset post office on tax day every year for at least a decade," commented Debra Dedmon, Vice Chair of the LPCC. "They can't call this a 'conservative grassroots movement.'"
Wayne Allyn Root, the Libertarian Party's 2008 Nominee for Vice President, gave an enthusiastic 20-minute keynote speech and quickly became a crowd favorite and was hailed as both an outspoken advocate of taxpayers, and a thorn in the side of corrupt politicians.
